Hi, guys today in this post I will guide you on how you can repair and modify double Optocoupler SMPS of LCD/LED TV.
This is my personal experience which I am going to share with you to repair damage to double Optoculper SMPS of LCD/LED TV
In the below picture you will see a picture, where I mark the double optocoupler SMPS circuit. If you have the same type of power supply, follow the below instruction to fix the double SMPS power supply.
Modify double Optocoupler SMPS of LCD/LED TV

- First, remove switching MOSFET and PWM IC from the circuit.
- After that find that the optocoupler which optocoupler 4no pin has a connection with the 2no pin of PWM IC.
- After finding that the optocoupler installs 5LO380R STR to modify the double optocoupler SMPS. Below this block, I have attached the circuit diagram of How to install 5LO380 STR. After installing the 5LO380R STR you will be able to modify double Optoculper SMPS very easily.
I personally use this method to repair the double optocoupler power supply of LCD/LED TV. And this is a very effective technique to fix a power supply that has a double optocoupler. Below, I have attached a practical video on modifying the double optocoupler of the power supply. Just watch that video to better understand how to modify the power supply.
