Hello, Guys today here in this post I will explain to you what is Bootloader & the total information of the bootloader. If you want to look to get the latest information on bootloader, this is the right place for you.
When you comes in the electronics field then you have to know some coding and software related basic information except basic electronics components.
Here I will explain about What is bootloader and why it is need to learn before start learning electronics.
If you need any kind of electronics information just comment down below, I will replay to you with your queries within 2days.
What is Bootloader?
Table of Contents
The bootloader is the program or code & It’s runs on device start-up and is in charge of loading the operating system on the phone. That is responsible for checking and loading the operating system of Bootloader. It runs an operating system when a computer/ mobile is turned on. As the bootloader kicks off before any piece of software on your device, it makes it extremely processor specific and every motherboard has its own bootloader. This is the reason all android devices have different custom ROMs due to their varying hardware specifications. On the other hand, the Apple devices running IOS somewhat share the same hardware specs and therefore you don’t see much variance in their bootloaders.
Some Important Information about Bootloader
Bootloaders are generally in charge of verifying that phone system information hasn’t been tampered with and is genuine.
Boot loader also called a boot manager, It’s a small program that places the operating system (OS) of a computer/mobile into memory. Most new computers are shipped with boot loaders for some version of Microsoft Windows or the Mac OS. If a computer is to be used with Linux, a special boot loader must be installed.
Boot loader is a program that is called by BIOS and once again initializes. boot-related hardware and finally boot loader is the one who exactly Knows(memory location) where the Kernel image is.
In the simplest terms, a bootloader is a piece of software that runs every time your phone starts up. It tells the phone what programs to load in order to make your phone run. The bootloader starts up the Android operating system when you turn on the phone.
Why manufacturers lock the Bootloader?
The bootloader of their devices so that only the operating system installed on the device can be used. Not all brand acts in the same way. This is also known as what is bootloader.
Why need to know about Bootloader?
When you buy a new microcontroller IC and going to uploaded any code you will see error message, because you did not unlock the bootloader. So if you want to uploader any code on the microcontroller IC successfully, you have to know the bootloader unlocking technique. Which I tell you in the next post.
